At the doors of the Ardennes, in the unique setting of the Castle of Harzé (17th century), the Milling and Bakery Museum will take you through the extraordinary adventure of making bread, harvesting grain and processing flour with old mills.
The museum is unique in its kind. There are six halls to be visited where you can find the peaceful atmosphere of the ancient castle, a reconstruction of an authentic water mill, millstones and cogwheels moving by hydraulic force and many unusual and unknown objects.
Demonstrations in the bakery workshop on Sundays and public holidays in July and August.
For school groups or other: bread manufacturing workshop or demonstration of the manufacturing of bread or speculoos (min. 15 and max. 24 participants for the manufacturing).
Open all year by reservation for groups (min. 15 people)
