If you're curious about what lies beneath the surface then hop to Virelles and discover about the thriving life at the pond. "The 4 seasons of Virelles" is screened regularly and during the weekend and school holidays pictures will be projected and commented by a nature guide. An interactive and verdant outdoor trail runs along the pond (with activities including the Moses Wall, water habitat discovery trail, mountain tracks, look-out posts and labyrinth). Other facilities: playground - barbecue - pick nick areas - meeting point for walks - restaurant - nature shop - temporary exhibitions - nature events.
Open from 10am to 5pm during the Christmas holidays except on 24, 25 and 31 December, 1 and 2 January
Open every day during the Carnival holidays from 10am to 5pm
Individuals: museum and film screening during weekends and school holidays. Guided tour and screening (about 45 min). Guided tour in French (or Dutch, depending on the guide). Unaccompanied tour of the nature reserve
Groups: min. 15 people (3-4hours) + free or guided tour of the nature reserve and/or museum (2.5 hours). English, French and Dutch spoken. Reservation required
Access available for persons with reduced mobility
Dogs on a lead are admitted to the area that is open to the public
